Where it is not possible to have Portable A/C Units, then evaporative coolers offer a very cost effective alternative. These units operate by air being drawn over a water soaked pad, warm air is  blown across the pad causing evaporation, and hence cool air. Simply fill with water and plug in for cool fresh filtered air.

Evaporative coolers operate in well ventilated open areas and are therefore ideal in workshops, retail outlets, warehouses................. in fact anywhere that you can site the unit by an open exterior window or door and have an open door or window ideally opposite to allow the hot air out and then enjoy your cool fresh filtered air.
